    Birth Doula

    For those seeking support during late pregnancy and labor/birth

    -prenatal meetings at least once a month from date of hire

    -two 90 min perinatal massages

    -help with birth plan

    -encouragement

    -baby registry help (if needed)

    -light postpartum prep

    -house visit at 39 weeks to prep for home birth labors

    -present for early to active labor, transition/birth and into the golden hour until client is resting and stable.

    -24-48 hour postpartum visit

    -resources and education for client and partner

    During Labor

    -emotional support (CLIENT AND PARTNER)

    -hands on physical comfort/support

    -encouragement (during labor, transition and post-birth)

    -breath work

    -position changes

    -advocacy

    -assistance in hydration and nourishment

    -task delegating for partners

    -relief for partners during long labors (rest, nourishment, communication)

    Postpartum Care-Daytime only

    $40/hour

    For those seeking assistance to prep for postpartum along with postpartum care 

    -one to two meetings during beginning of third trimester 

    -postpartum set up 1-2 weeks before due date 

    -resources

    -light meal prep

    -cleaning and light laundry 

    -rest support 

    -postpartum prep 

    -emotional support (CLIENT AND PARTNER)

    Birth Doula and Postpartum Care

    1.Prenatal coaching (as early as first trimester)includes:

    -nutritional meal planning

    -self care guidance

    -education on informed decision making

    -resources 

    -birth plan prep

    -baby registry help

    -postpartum prep

    2. Massages (two pre and two postnatal) 

    3. Home visit 38/39 weeks for home birth prep

    4. Birthing support/Doula:

    -company and support during early and active labor into transition/birth and the golden hour. 

    -physical support during pushing

    -emotional support (CLIENT AND PARTNER)

    -hands on physical comfort/support

    -encouragement (throughout labor, transition and post-birth)

    -breath work

    -position changes

    -advocacy

    -assistance in hydration and nourishment

    -task delegating for partners

    -relief for partners during long labors

    4.Postpartum support(2 weeks, 16 hours total. add hours paid per hour):

    -meal prep, coordinating meal trains etc. 

    -rest support (This is during the day for mom to take a nap. Not overnight support).

    -light household tasks (laundry/dishes/cooking etc)
